El Pescador is located a few miles north of the town of San Pedro on the Ambergris Caye.  The lodge has been owned and operated by the same family for over 20 years – and your experience there will quite literally like a “home away from home.”  The lodge is located directly on the beach and you will have access to pool, hammocks, a beautiful dock, bar/lounge area with various games and is pristinely kept.  All rooms have been recently renovated; they include private bath, small refrigerator, and air conditioning.  

 

All meals, snacks, drinks, and local spirits/beer are included in the price.  Breakfast is available every morning or on the go for your boat ride. Lunches are packed in coolers on your boat; you will select your lunch and beverages from several options.  The bar offers snacks when you come back from fishing that are incredible.  The jalapeno poppers and chicken wings are two of my personal favorites. Dinner is served every night at around 6:30pm and is exceptional.  They are more than willing to accommodate any special food needs! The family style dinners at El Pescador are one of my favorite parts of the experience of this lodge – getting to meet and talk with individuals from all over the world is special.  

 

The best part of El Pescador is the staff.  Every single individual you come in contact with here is warm, friendly, helpful and accommodating.  They do a the little things; remember your name and what you like to drink, always greet you with a smile and a conversation, and truly make you feel like part of the El Pescador family.
